Remembering the Louisiana Hayride - August 8 Fundraiser

The Shreveport-based radio and television broadcast, the Louisiana Hayride, launched the careers of some of the greatest names in American country and western music between 1948 and 1960. 

 

Join Allison Krause Crowson, the House Tribute Band, and special musical guests (Robert Herridge, Paul Schlesinger) as they pay homage to early Elvis Presley, Faron Young, Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Three, Grandpa Jones, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, The Carter Family, and double fiddlers Rusty and Doug Kershaw.

Step back in time and enjoy the musical hits of yesteryear, and some of the finest chicken and sausage gumbo served ‘round these here parts.
